We got our Schylling Little Helper Broom Set so long ago that I don’t even remember who gave it to us. But it has been well-loved ever since.
The set includes a broom in red and blue with yellow bristles, a hand brush with a purple handle and yellow bristles, and a bright green dustpan. The hand brush fits perfectly inside the dustpan for storage, and the two can be hung separately or together on a hook in say, an IKEA play kitchen. The broom can also be hung thanks to a hole in the end of the handle. You can also get a set with pink broom and dust pan
.

Our broom has seen better days after getting stepped on multiple times by both adults and kids. The handle has a definite tilt to it as a result, and it isn’t quite as sturdy for sweeping as it started out. I’ve used the broom to sweep myself and it works quite well even with a shorter handle than I might like in an adult broom. I find it incredibly useful as a long-handled tool within easy reach that I can use to rescue toys under the couch or or other hard to reach places.

I still use the hand brush and dustpan on a weekly if not daily basis, and I don’t mean for playing. It works so wonderfully to clean up dry messes that I often use it to clean birdseed, mouse food, sand, or dirt that mysterious appears on my floors moments after my kids come through the house. I don’t know how I would live without it, and my kids like it, too.
