I admit it. I was skeptical when my husband came home with this portable hammock. I prefer our Eagle’s Nest hammock, which packs up into a tiny bag and can be taken almost anywhere.  

But it requires trees. Even our air hammock, which doesn’t need any trees to set up and enjoy, can’t compare to this bigger version on wheels. It includes an optional shade on top, as well as a storage net underneath. I like the storage net, but the shade makes all the difference. We’ve set it up in our backyard to test it out. Then we hauled it to our very sunny neighborhood park. We’ve also taken it to the garden to relax and I can already tell, despite owning it for only a few weeks, that it will make the trek to the beach many times as well.

The entire hammock sets up in less than five minutes, and one person can pack it up even quicker. Once you shove it back into the bag, you can haul it along on wheels or throw it on top of a pile of stuff in a wagon to get where you need to go, even if you don’t want to haul it along on the included wheels. It can hold two adults cozily side by side, or at least three kids. It comes with a small pillow for added luxury as well.

All in all, despite the hammocks we already own and love, this one has been a great addition to our stable, especially as we venture away from home.
