I try very hard not to be political, whether it’s talking about the choice between disposable or cloth diapers, buying or making baby food, or any other choices parents make. But today I’m violating my own rules.

Please vote tomorrow, if you haven’t already. I know you’ve heard it before and this won’t be the last time, but your voice matters. As a parent, as a part of the population, and as a person, please make sure your opinion counts. This system we have only works when people participate. 

I’d like to think we live in a world where money doesn’t matter and everyone has access to basic services like education and healthcare, but this year more than any other, has proved otherwise. This is your opportunity to respond, and exercise your right to choose. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
