Want to turn your storage space into a viable hang out? Maybe you’d like for your older kids to have a place to hang out in their own domain. Or perhaps you want to invite your adult friends over after the kids go to bed and not fret about disturbing sleeping youngsters. Whether you want to avoid bugs, increase the natural light, or provide lots of ventilation, this Garage Door Screen works wonders.

Garage Door Screen on Amazon

You can get a garage door screen for any garage. Start by measuring the size of your current garage door in both width and height. Then, check online to get the screen that best matches your measurements.  Bigger screens for double garage doors will cost you more, of course. But don’t hesitate to spend the money if you want to turn your garage into another functional room of your house.

Garage screen door hook and loop sticky tape on top
Hook and loop sticky tape makes this screen door a cinch to install, while buckles allow you to store it in place when not in use.

Installation takes only minutes and requires zero tools. Add the hook and loop sticky tape to the top and sides of your garage door opening. Be careful to apply all the tape a short distance from your actual garage door to prevent the screen magnets from attaching to the actual garage door itself. While the sticky tape can come undone when in direct sunlight in the heat of summer for many hours in row, you can easily re-stick it. Or use the included push pins to firmly attach the tape.

The screen hangs outside the garage door.

The screen comes with a magnetic closure in the middle, which functions as a door. That means if you don’t have a free hand, you can still get through the screen. And your kids can take their bikes, scooters, and more through with no problem. Pets can also let themselves in and out through this opening.

Our screen hangs just a bit above the ground on our extra wide garage. And it works wonders for keeping bugs out. The garage has doubled as a game room and entertainment space for more than three years. Now, we no longer have to choose between fresh air, light, and bugs.

The magnetic opening in the middle makes getting in and out a breeze.

The best part of this screen door is that you can still park your car inside. The magnetic closure opens when you drive through the screen, and closes after you park. Or you can use the included buckle straps to roll up the screen when not in use, much like the flaps on a tent.

If you want to expand your living space into your garage, get your own Garage Screen Door and see how much it brightens your space.
