LEGO 60379 Deep Sea Explorer Submarine Set on Amazon
This big set from the LEGO City range comes with 842 pieces. It has a submersible vehicle complete with two claws that work, a compartment for deep sea explorers that opens and closes, and a bubble cockpit. To set the scene, let your child assemble the ship wreck, which creates a hiding spot for three sharks. One hides inside the cave, while two more circle above thanks to the moving LEGO assembly. Once complete, kids can give it a push and watch these deep sea terrors spin as they hunt for prey.

Kids will have no trouble following the instruction manual to assemble the entire set on their own. It took our nine year old several hours to complete over a couple of days. Once they get it all put together, they can enjoy hours of playtime with the interactive set. Six minifigures populate the set, including the laboratory located inside the submarine. Or use the deep sea diving suit to explore outside the vehicle.

Too risky for minifigs to explore? Use the drone to squeeze into tight spots, which tucks inside the submersible’s cargo bay in between trips. Three sharks, two jellyfish, and four fish make for lots of ways to sightsee in the depths.

Take your child’s interests to new levels with this deep sea exploration set.
