Looking for an easy summer snack your kids will love? Get a box of ice cream cones and a container of yogurt with some fresh fruit to make these tasty treats.

Much like my beloved Fourth of July Treat, this simple recipe requires no cooking or baking. Simply fill the cone partway with yogurt (we prefer vanilla), then add a layer of fresh fruit of your choice. Berries, like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries, work great due to their small size, which means less prep work. But you can also cut up some mango, pineapple, peaches, or just about anything into small pieces that fit into the cone. Add a layer of fruit, then top with another layer of yogurt and finish it all off with more fruit.

These easy treats make great summer snacks for the entire family, and require minimal effort. You can freeze the entire batch for hot days, or serve immediately for a cold treat that doesn’t melt. Let your kids create their own by spooning in the yogurt and selecting the fruit they want to add. No matter who assembles the tastiness, you can’t go wrong with this delicious snack.
