This baseball game replicates the excitement and challenge on the field. Choose your favorite from all 30 MLB teams. Slide the paper punch outs into the holders to field the team of your choice. Then line up your best pitching staff and bring on the big guns!
Players take turns on offense and defense. The defense uses a small lever hidden behind the scoreboard to angle the pitching machine. A small mechanism located on the pitcher’s mound slings tiny marbles towards the plate. Thanks to a magnet tucked inside the board, the pitch can take many different paths. Land a strike in the zone directly behind the plate, or get your opponent to swing at a ball. Three compartments at the plate catch all the marbles that get past the hitter. Use the baseball shaped handle to move fielders back and forth and try and prevent hitters from getting on base or runners from scoring.
Small white pegs track runners on base. Meanwhile, the offense uses a small level to swing the tiny bat, either as a leftie or righty, trying to make contact with the pitches. Hit the ball past the infield and outfield players and pits to avoid an out. Make it into the different sections of the outfield to earn a single, double, triple, or even a homer.
The scoreboard goes up to nine points and lets players track the inning as well.
