I understand why Columbia named these boots Heavenly. I’m on my second pair. I scored my first pair in store in March 20217 when I found them on sale for $40. I wore them for five years, until the soft fleece lining began to shred. Last year, I bought a replacement pair on Amazon after trying what felt like every women’s snow boot Columbia makes. Let me save you some trouble. Get these Columbia Heavenly Slip II Snow Boots.
These boots come in four neutral colors: black, white, gray, and beige. Each one has a snow resistant outer shell that also repels water. That means they can double as rain boots in a pinch. In the winter, I only pack these boots when we travel. Lined with a soft fake fur type material, they feel like house slippers, but have a sole durable enough to handle snow and rough terrain and whatever else I’ve thrown at them for years and years. I not only wear mine in the snow, I wear them regularly from fall to spring, regardless of the weather.
They can be easily slipped on and off, hence the name. An inside zipper goes all the way down, making it simple to get into the show even with a high instep, or funky foot issues. If I’m in a real hurry, I’ve even worn mine without bothering to zip them up. They go with everything, from jeans to leggings to skirts and dresses. Yet they can stand up to the muddy park in wet weather and giant puddles that would soak any other shoes.
Best of all, your feet will never be cold thanks to their superior insulation. Whether you want a snow boot for outdoor fun with kids in winter or a shoe you can wear long past when the snow melts, these boots get the job done and look good doing it.
