Each box includes battery-operated lights for two bike wheels. Use both sets on one bike or split them between two bikes. Either way, these bright likes make it easy to spot your child when riding their bikes. The lights switch on and off with the press of a button, and stay on even when the wheels stop, making them super helpful for biking on darker winter days. One set of three AAA batteries, included with purchase,  will last up to 40 hours, giving kids tons of bike time.

Each strand of lights runs off three AAA batteries, included with purchase.

These bright lights come in twelve different color choices, so you can pick your child’s favorite. Each pack comes with installation instructions as well as a link to an installation video. Older kids can install these themselves, though they may need help stretching the rubbery oval straps around the battery case to attach it securely to the bike wheel.

The waterproof battery pack fits neatly inside the wheel spokes.

Each battery case slides between the spokes to rest at the center of the bike wheel, where it won’t get caught on clothes or impede brakes or kickstands. A button on the end turns the lights on, while a second press will switch them to flashing mode. Press it a third time to turn off the lights.

Unlike most safety equipment, kids actually want these lights. My daughter got a pack of the rainbow color for the holidays and couldn’t be more thrilled with how they look. In the meantime, I’m delighted that she will be much easier to see while riding, making both of us very pleased with this new acquisition. If you’d like to keep your kids safe while biking and let them deck out their wheels, you can’t go wrong with these Activ Life Bike Lights.
