Decorate Your Greenery for This Festive Occasion

- What: Halloween Tree
- When: Pregnancy to college
- Why: Fun, purposeful, decorative
- Where: At home
Who says tress can only be used for Christmas? If you have an artificial tree sitting around collecting dust the other eleven months of the year (or even if you don’t), try setting up your own Halloween Tree.

The standard green color makes an excellent background for Halloween decorations. Try beaded strands in colors like orange, yellow, or purple. Or get crafty and string some cheddar popcorn for a bright pop of festive orange. Simple tiny plastic pumpkins will nestle in the branches. Or get plastic pumpkins with handles to hang from the branches.
Or go all out and find classic round ornaments in black or orange. They look particularly spooktacular on a silver tree. Almost any Halloween decor you own, from black birds to ribbons, can be repurposed for tree decorations that fit your theme.

Don’t have a ton of space? Never fret. You can have just as much fun with a miniature tree as well. Spider webs add extra texture and can display tiny plastic spider rings.
Set up your own Halloween tree and enjoy the decor all month long as the compliments roll in.
