Our 2023 Year in Review

Looking back at 2023, I thought I’d take a moment to review. From the numbers to the best posts of the year, you can find everything in a nutshell all together. Whether you want to see the most popular posts or contributors’ favorite posts, get all that and more in this summary.

Numbers: Practically Apparent published 252 posts in 2023 with more than 100,000 words total. That’s a lot of reviews, tricks, tips, and more. Discover the best we had to offer thanks to the various lists and rankings below.

Resolutions: In an effort to downgrade my guilty complex, I avoided making big resolutions last year. Instead, I choose to tackle some smaller projects that could be completed in one go. I didn’t stick with this every month, in part because I lacked a clear list of problem places to tackle. But I feel very good, even six to twelve months later, about what I did tackle.

• I cleaned out the dumping ground in one of our less accessible cabinets. 
• The electronic cord drawer also got some attention. Removing old cords to devices we no longer owned and organizing the remainder into bags and compartments went a long way in that area.
• And together with the kids we finally tackled the overcrowding in the Calico Critter department.

Last year held no surprises in the top posts.
